Sensory-substitution-based perception interface using spinal cord stimulation applied for hearing aid

MIKLÓS Gabriella, HALÁSZ László, VÁRKUTI Bálint, SAMAN Hagh Gooie, TÓTH Emilia, MAX Hasselberger, GIJS Van Elswijk, ERŐSS Loránd

The World Health Organization estimates that around 466 million people suffer from disabling hearing loss, with children constituting 7% of this population (2019). Middle meningeal artery embolisation for chronic subdural hematomas in surgically high risk patients due to hematological malignancies

LENZSÉR Gábor, KUNCZ Ádám, CSÉCSEI Péter, NAGY Csaba, TÓTH Arnold

Middle meningeal artery (MMA) embolisation has emerged in the last two decades as a possible way to treat chronic subdural hematomas (CSDH). The outer layer of the hematoma capsule recruits blood supply from the dural arteries which will contribute through the leaky capillaries of the membrane to the expansion of the hematoma.
