Arteria centralis retinae elzáródás thrombolysiskezelése és multidiszciplináris ellátása a hagyományos szemészeti kezelési formákkal összehasonlítva

Az arteria centralis retinae okklúzió eddigi konzervatív terápiái limitált hatékonyságúak, szemészeti osztályokon történtek, ahogyan az egységes protokoll nélküli etiológiai vizsgálatok is. Pedig az ACRO a központi idegrendszeri ischaemiás stroke analógiájának tekinthető, így a szisztémás thrombolysis és a multidiszciplináris ellátás hasonlóan hatékony lehet. Emiatt 2022 májusa óta a Semmelweis Egyetemen klinikai vizsgálat keretében a 4,5 órán belül diagnosztizált ACRO thrombolysiskezelését és etiológiai vizsgálatait végezzük egységes protokoll alapján.

Quantitative data on the impact of smok- ing on genesis of intracranial aneurysms (IA) is sparse. In this prospective observational cohort study (07/2016- 01/2023), we analyzed the association between lifetime and current smoking exposure and IA characteristics.

A case report of a large intra abdominal schwannoma

Schwannomas (Sch) are benign masses that rarely occur intra abdominally and rarely reach larger diameters. When present they occur as rare solitary nerve sheath tumors of peri-neural Schwann cells.

Early diagnosis of cerebral vein thrombosis (CVT) is crucial to prevent complications such as hydrocephalus, intracranial hypertension, and epilepsy. On the other hand, chronic subdural hematoma (SDH) is a bleeding collected between the inner layer of the dura mater and the arachnoid of the meninges surrounding the brain.

The potential role of cranial endplate damaging pedicle screws in accelerated disc degeneration – a clinical cohort study combined with finite element analysis

Adjacent segment degeneration (ASD) is a multifactorial condition resulting in a subsequent surgery in a significant number of lumbar fusion patients. A possible risk factor for accelerated disc degeneration can be the deteriorated metabolic conditions.

Lipomyelomeningocele associated with ulnar club hand in the spectrum of VACTERL association is a very rare and rarely reported phenomenon. Within the fat mass of lipoma, it’s not common to find well-defined cartilaginous mass with no attachments to the surrounding tissue.

Orbital schwannoma: a case report

Orbital schwannomas, accounts for 1-5% of all intra-orbital tumors. Schwannomas commonly arise from sensory nerves within the orbit, notably the supra-orbital and supra-trochlear branches of the frontal nerves, with involvement of infra-orbital, nasociliary, or lacrimal nerves possible.
