Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

I have a great honour and pleasure to invite all of you to the 6th Congress of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society and 25th Congress of the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society that will take place in Budapest, Hungary, October 9-11th 2024.

We are very greatful to Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society that they supported the joint organization of the Congress and we are very glad to provide this meeting in Budapest, at our famous historical city. It is a great pleasure and honour for us to welcome our friends from SeENS.

As a result of the scientific and technological development of the past decades, neurosurgery continues its surgical, scientific and educational activities in close cooperation with other disciplines. We want to emphasize the Congress in the context of the interdisciplinary nature of our work.

All we know, that the topic of “Developments and new technologies in Neurosurgery” at our conference is very actual not only from the science point of view, but for its practical and clinical impact as well.

I hope, that our event will open again a fruitful forum for presentations and the latest results in the field of neurosurgery. In these few days we can overview many aspects and results of scientific research and clinical practice.

This Congress is not only a platform for academic exchange but also a celebration of our shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. We are confident that the sessions will inspire you and provide valuable insights that you can apply in your daily practice.

We can be satisfied, that we have a joint venture with broad international participation. It is also very important that young scientists can attend the workshops, and I hope, they will have a good opportunity to discuss their papers.

The scientific program is very rich, with a rather tight time schedule, but I am sure, that we will have enough time not only for good scientific discussions, but also for good and friendly talks with colleagues and friends.

I am convinced that the meeting will fully satisfy our expectations and we will have a good and fruitful scientific event and a pleasant stay in Budapest.

We encourage you to take time to explore its rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

Budapest’s unique blend of history and modernity provides a fitting backdrop for our gathering.

We hope that this Congress will be a memorable and rewarding experience for all participants. Let us seize this opportunity to learn from each other, share our knowledge and advance the field of neurosurgery together.

After these few introductory words allow me to welcome all of you again to our joint international meeting on behalf of the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society and Department of Neurosurgery and Neurointervention of Semmelweis University.

Looking forward to seeing you in Budapest, Hungary! Sincerely,

Prof. Péter Banczerowski Congress President
Former President of the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society

Honorable Colleagues, Ladies and Gentlemen,

On behalf of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society (SeENS) it is my great pleasure and honor to invite You to the 6th Congress of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society and 25th Congress of the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society that will take place in Budapest, Hungary, October 9-11th 2024.

The Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society (SeENS, www.seens.eu) has been founded in 2012. Currently SeENS is gathering neurosurgeons from 13 countries of the Southeast Europe region and Turkey. In a 11 years period (20122023) SeENS has become an affiliated member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) and full member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (WFNS).

Rapid development of Neurosurgery, emergence of new technologies, modern neuroimaging techniques and improved methods of diagnostics have urged the need to continue with organization of joint Congresses. I am very greatful to Hungarian Neurosurgical Society that has recognized the importance of organizing this Joint Congress.

Concerning the attractiveness of Neurosurgery the list of the invited speakers at this Congress is impressive and includes the Europe and World’s leading experts in the field of Neurosurgery.

It is my great honor to invite You to participate at this Congress and to experience and share noteworthy scientific and social moments in Budapest.

Looking forward to see you in Budapest, Hungary!
Sincerely,

Tomislav Sajko SeENS President

Honorable Colleagues and Friends,

It is our great honor and pleasure to welcome You to the 6th Congress of the Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society and 25th Congress of the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society which will be held in Budapest, Hungary, October 9-11th, 2024.

In the SeENS, we share a sense and sensibility of pride in the accomplishments achieved in providing neurosurgical care, training, and research in the SouthEast Europe region by promoting expertise exchange and cooperation amongst neurosurgeons. Equally important, we are proud that we have achieved a genuine sense and sensibility of caring and sharing through the SeENS network further to develop our quest for better neurosurgery of tomorrow. We tend to provide the best possible neurosurgical care to our patients and the best possible education to young neurosurgeons in Southeast Europe.

This year the SeENS Congress is ogranized with our friends from the Hungarian Neurosurgical Society. The Congress’ topics will focus on new advances in research and education in Neurosurgery. All the ingredients are in place for a stimulating and valuable academic, scientific, educational, professional, interpersonal, and social exchange.

Let us all do our best to contribute to the 6th SeENS Congress in Budapest, Hungary, October 9th-11th, 2024., and continue to build new bridges of knowledge, understanding, and borderless cooperation.
