Congenital brain tumors are exceedingly rare, typically developing during pregnancy and diagnosed either prenatally or presenting at birth or within the first weeks of life. Congenital glioblastoma (GBM) is even rarer, accounting for 3.5% of all congenital central nervous system tumors.

The idea of multidisciplinary approach and increasing experience with endoscopic transnasal surgery and extended endoscopic approaches, such as transpterygoid, opened a wide range of indication of endoscopic surgery on skull base tumors. However, there are anatomical limitations of pure endonasal approach.

Diffuse villous hyperplasia of the choroid plexus (DVHCP) is a rare congenital condition, characterized by enlarged but morphologically normal choroid plexuses, and associated with hydrocephalus due to excessive CSF production. In recent years, we encountered two cases in which radiological and histological findings confirmed DVHCP.
