Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) is a disease primarily affecting young female patients, that may result is permanent visual disturbances and loss of vision in case of delayed diagnosis. For decades, the only treatment of medical therapy resistant IIH was ventriculo-peritoneal shunt implantation.

Pituitary apoplexy is rare endocrine emergency which can occur due to infarction or haemorrhage of pituitary adenoma. The prevalence is 2-12% of pituitary adenoma patients especially in nonfunctioning pituitary tumors however it can be developed in medically treated tumors.

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage is an abnormal connection between the subarachnoid space and the extracranial space. CSF leak is typically classified as traumatic, iatrogenic or idiopathic. Many CSF leaks heal on their own, but others require complex surgical repair.

Early diagnosis of cerebral vein thrombosis (CVT) is crucial to prevent complications such as hydrocephalus, intracranial hypertension, and epilepsy. On the other hand, chronic subdural hematoma (SDH) is a bleeding collected between the inner layer of the dura mater and the arachnoid of the meninges surrounding the brain.
