Ázsiából származó műanyaghulladékok borítanak be egy atlanti-óceáni szigetet

Csaknem 75 százalékban Ázsiából, döntően Kínából származnak azok a műanyagpalackok, amelyeket az Atlanti-óceán déli részén fekvő Inaccessible Island területén találtak dél-afrikai és kanadai kutatók, akik szerint a hulladékok a térségben elhaladó kereskedőhajók fedélzetéről kerülhetnek a nyílt vízbe, majd onnan a szigetre.
